U4GM MLB 26: Unlock 96 Ketel Marte Cheap

Building around 96 overall Ketel Marte in Diamond Dynasty feels a lot easier once you stop treating the Vintage Collection like a giant stub sink. The trick is to grab value early, use the free reward path properly, and let your games do more than one job at a time. You don't need to chase the flashiest Vintage names on day one. Save those stubs, watch the lower end of the market, and keep enough flexibility to buy the missing pieces later. If you're short on currency, having a plan for your MLB 26 Stubs matters just as much as winning games, because the wrong purchase can slow the whole grind down.

Start Cheap And Let PXP Build

The first move should be simple. Go to the marketplace, filter by Vintage cards, and look for the cheapest options sitting around the 4,000 to 5,000 stub range. Buy a few of those before you start playing seriously. It isn't glamorous, but it works. Put them in your lineup or on your bench so Parallel XP starts adding up while you handle other missions. If you pack a premium Vintage card like Derek Jeter, Chase Utley, or Larry Walker, don't get sentimental unless you actually plan to use him. Selling one expensive pull can fund several budget cards, and that gets you closer to Marte much faster.

Use Offline Modes The Smart Way

Most players waste time by doing one mission at a time. Don't. Take your Vintage players into the themed program missions, Conquest, and Diamond Quest together. The Vintage Program asks for basic stat totals, such as hits, total bases, and strikeouts, so those should be ticking upward while you're clearing maps. In Diamond Quest, pick the highest difficulty you can handle, attack the stronghold quickly, and get the free player rewards. Conquest takes longer, no doubt, but it's also where you can pile up stats without thinking too much. The rewards are worth it too, with cards and packs that push your collection count along nicely.

Mini Seasons Is Slow But Useful

Mini Seasons is the part where patience matters. The reward chain starts with getting 10 strikeouts using any relief pitcher, which unlocks Matt Strahm. Then you use Strahm for two saves to earn Raul Ibanez. After that, Ibanez needs to reach base six times, opening the door to Ryan McMahon. McMahon then has to produce extra-base hits to unlock Mitch Garver. It can feel a bit like homework, but the missions stack well if your squad is already packed with cheap Vintage cards. The larger PXP goals, including 22,000 PXP with any players and 10,000 PXP with Vintage players, should move naturally while you're grinding the season.

Leave The Event Until Your Team Is Ready

The Old School Event is better saved for later. Online games can be messy, and there's no reason to jump in with a weak roster if you still have offline rewards sitting on the table. Once your team looks stronger, the event gives you 10,000 XP, a Gleyber Torres card, and another Deluxe Vintage pack. Along the way, collection milestones help more than people realise. At 12 Vintage cards, Joc Pederson joins the count. At 20, Ubaldo Jimenez does the same. With 18 free cards coming from programs, modes, packs, and milestones, you'll only need to buy nine cheaper cards. Keep your MLB Stubs focused on those gaps, and Ketel Marte becomes a realistic target instead of a painful collection chase.
