U4GM Diablo 4 Guide to Yoche's Mythic Chests

A Torment XII Undercity run now rewards sharp play more than blind tribute spending. The Armaments fix removed the old guaranteed Mythic result, so a tribute is no longer a ticket to one specific prize. It is still a strong opening bet, though, particularly when the run produces extra chest copies. Players chasing D4 items should treat the dungeon like a timed loot route: build the reward level early, keep the clock healthy, and do not let rare side targets slip away. That change has made the best runs feel more hands-on, and honestly, more satisfying when everything clicks.

Build the run around beacons

The first minute matters a lot. Get moving, find Grand Spirit Beacons, and light them as soon as the group can safely clear what they summon. Wrathful Spirits are not just another pack to mop up. They are the route to four Reward Upgrades, which is where an ordinary clear starts turning into a worthwhile Mythic attempt. Spiritborn players tend to feel at home here because they can dart between groups and keep damage rolling, but any class works if it has fast area clear and enough toughness to avoid pointless deaths. Don't chase every stray enemy. Afflicted Monsters are the priority when the timer begins to look thin, since their bonuses can keep a capable party running well past the usual pressure point.

Pranksters are the real multiplier

Portal Pranksters have become the part of the farm that players talk about most. Unlocking Gutter Filth through War Plans lets beacon activations bring them into the run, and killing one adds another reward chest at the end. That is the practical answer to the tribute nerf: not a guaranteed Mythic, but several meaningful rolls from one completed dungeon. In the Cave District, Ziggurat District, and Temple District, somebody should always watch for the Prankster spawn while the rest of the team keeps the route clear. If the group rushes ahead and misses one, it can cost more than a few seconds ever would.

War Plans and party rotation

Preparation begins before the portal opens. Activity Skill Points should go into Undercity rewards rather than being scattered across unrelated systems. The middle War Plans route is especially useful for improving Ancestral Tribute access, while Gutter Filth supports the chest-duplication plan. A four-player rotation is usually the sensible setup.

  1. Each player brings or earns Mythic Tributes of Armaments.
  2. One player uses a tribute per run.
  3. The party stays together for beacon and Prankster kills.
  4. Rewards are checked after every completed rotation.

Bosses still decide the payout

Even a clean route can fall apart in the Chapel if the team gets careless. Blood Magus is the warning sign; Yoche the Golden is the real test. Keep moving, call out dangerous mechanics, and save burst damage for moments when the boss can't punish the group for standing still. The patched tribute system has raised the effort required, but it has not pushed Kurast Undercity out of the top spot. With four upgrades, extra Prankster chests, and a full party rotation, D4 items cheap remain within reach through steady, well-organised runs rather than luck alone.
