Individuals who struggle with substance use can benefit from the many skills available in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This training will provide an overview of the dynamics of substance use, including diagnosis and assessment. Learners will be introduced to the core tenets of DBT, including mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
