Booz Allen Hamilton Appoints Troy Lahr as New CFO

Booz Allen Hamilton has announced a major leadership update with the appointment of Troy Lahr CFO as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. The move reflects the company’s continued focus on long-term growth, innovation, and operational excellence in both federal and global commercial markets.

Effective May 4, 2026, Troy Lahr will join Booz Allen Hamilton as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s fiscal performance, capital structure, mergers and acquisitions, and broader financial operations. He will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Horacio Rozanski.

Lahr brings more than 25 years of financial and business leadership experience across the commercial technology, aerospace, and defense sectors. Most recently, he served as CFO at Sierra Space, where he managed accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, and strategic financial planning. Before that, he held senior finance leadership roles at Boeing, including CFO of its Defense, Space & Security division.

Booz Allen leadership expressed confidence that Lahr’s broad financial expertise and proven track record will help accelerate the company’s next phase of transformation. His experience leading large portfolios and driving performance is expected to support Booz Allen’s evolving business strategy.

Alongside this appointment, Booz Allen also named Chief Operating Officer Kristine Martin Anderson as President, effective May 1, 2026. She had been serving as acting CFO since February 2026 and will continue reporting to the CEO while taking on her expanded responsibilities.

These executive changes highlight Booz Allen Hamilton’s commitment to strengthening leadership as it expands its position as an advanced technology and consulting provider. The appointments are designed to support continued growth, innovation, and value creation in a rapidly changing market.
