Founder and CEO, Aaron Gaynor, got his start in the trades after graduating from high school. Though he struggled in the classroom, and has dyslexia, and his high school principal even encouraged him to drop out, at age 23 he earned his contractor’s license and started his first business. In 2007 when the financial crisis hit, Aaron’s commercial plumbing business declined and he declared bankruptcy.
Not letting the hard times get him down, he began educating himself for future business success. With the help of a small trusted team, including his sister, Roslyn, Aaron borrowed $50 to start his residential plumbing company. After training on green plumbing techniques, Aaron innovated by adding products like tankless water heaters and WaterSense products and the company changed its name to The Eco Plumbers.
Aaron often passionately shares his story, stating, “The trades saved my life!”. That’s exactly why Eco opened The Eco Plumbers University to teach plumbing. With over 100 graduates and counting, training focuses on professional skills and workmanship, and delivering the best customer experience possible. There are even plans to add training for our other trades.
Known today as Eco Plumbers, Electricians, and HVAC Technicians, the company recently rebranded to announce being ready to help even more people with the addition of heating, cooling, and electrical services.
At Eco, we know there are other choices in home service companies and that’s why we continue to put focus on innovative solutions to keep your home safe, efficient, and comfortable. Aaron and the team wish to express how grateful we are to our customers for trusting us to come through for you when you need us to.
